I would normaly do one anyway. Any thoughts on this Sir.. Thanks for the info Bigrobbo. As per the other question, I didn't decide to go private in the end. He wasn't reluctant at all. HCG, depends on many things Don't smash your recreational use onto the tax payer. That's pretty much that. To attempt to manipulate the results so you can get free gear just demonstrates the fact that you can't come off due to a mental weakness Man up people, or at least have the balls to accept and live with your own decisions without clutching at straws to justify life long use.
This is low for a 33 year old. I believe I should be around the So now I am awaiting the results of the blood test that my GP sent me for.
You'll have to hope the blood test comes back lower if you want trt! Keep us updated fella. I'm okay with not being eligible for treatment.
It will mean that I can rule out low test for my symptoms. I'll take it as a positive. Hi m8 I have not been on here for a few weeks so sorry for the late reply. I have private insurance so the cost not a problem, once you get the bloods done and you go on trt the endo writes to your doc who then gives you the trt treatment you dont get the treatment private its done on the nhs.
Did you get your bloods taken first thing in the morning? Got my blood tests back and haven't had a call from the GP. He said he would only calls me if there was something abnormal. Basically my serum testosterone is It looks like this is the total testosterone.
I am not after free test as such. I would rather not need it. I would be much happier if I was in the normal range. However if I do have low testosterone then I do want it prescribed.
What I don't understand is where I go from here. I have a copy of my testosterone report with the serum testosterone on it. I am going to arrange an appointment with my GP and discuss it with him.
Hi guys, just thought i would pitch in here. Do not want to upset the applecart here but i am suppose I am about to. This seems to be such a subject riddled with discrepancies with everyone from the gym goer to the respected medical professional. My position is as follows. I came through with testosterone results of My gp which they usually do said it was normal although he did admit i had just made it.
I brought my wife in with me guys which i think is a great tip because it shows to the doctor that there is transparency in the relationship and they will find it much harder to fob you off as having psychosexual problems. My wife and I proceeded to tell him the problems I was having, no interest or desire in anything no just sex but ambition, goal setting to eating as well. Cardiovascular performance down the pan. It seems because my body is so low and these exercises are so intense it feels like my body has no choice but to wake up!!
The exercise part was just for the benefit of the muscle talk members i would refrain from telling my gp that you can still deadlift and squat over Kg!! These guys will not know that the whole reason you are doing these exercises is to get the testosterone systems going in the first place! Anyway back to more important matters.
Right, so i am telling my GP all the symptoms; if I do 'get it up it' is not strong, and it requires the most mental effort on my part to complete the deed with the wife. Your mrs will not like this but don't just talk about sexual desire with her, mention that when you see other gorgeous sexy women, you acknowledge that they are beautiful but there is no sexual thoughts for them or if there is it only lasts for a very short time.
Believe me for your future wellbeing it is worth a slap in the face from the mrs afterwards. My sex life is poor at the moment guys and the problems I have described are all true but the thing I hate more than anything with living with low t is the desire to exercise.
I want that back so badly! I miss my muscle pumps, I miss my body being able to burn the food I eat quickly, I miss be able to recover quickly and I miss just feeling good about myself. But for the purpose of getting referred to a urologist keep the talk on the sex life with the doc, it seems the gp will just fob you off with depression if you just mention your energy and mood.
Now guys here is the discrepancy part i mention at the start of the post. I went to see my urologist on thurs just passed and the difference of the communication between him and the gp was frightening to say the least.
He admitted he was, 'bloody angry' with the GP and actually berated his professional position telling me that GP's are not as smart as you think they are.
If they are not specialised like he is he explained more often than not the didn't have what it took for further study. He said my level was totally unacceptable for my age, it should be 24 plus on the scale. He said if my GP never referred me my condition would get worse and worse over the years to where i would be prone to heat attacks, diabetes all sort of badstuff!! Guys I was actually lost for words, I was prepared to battle my corner for why I think I need this.
But I didn't need to say anything. My mrs was shocked as well. In summing up, maybe my condition is slightly different form the rest because my urologist gave my condition a name that I wasn't prepared for - 'metabolic syndrome'.
My cholesterol is also very high 7. He again said this is indicative of low t. With trt once I feel my energy returning I will want to exercise more which will burn the fat and thus lessen the cholesterol reading. Obviously this is his line of work and appears very passionate about it, but he did say that he does wonder how many men are walking about with this problem when they don't need to!!
One last point guys, he looks like he practises what he preaches, he appears to be late fifties but has no bodyfat whatsoever, skin was glistening with a tailored made suit, he just looked the bollocks. Thanks for reading and if you feel you need help get it. The symptoms you experience obviously come from else where, low test is low test. Normal test isn't low. To argue otherwise boils down to you being a mental midget who can't admit that they're too weak to function without steroids.
